BEit Dudes by Kicktoys just came across my desk, and I find the toys really interesting. Their swivel hips, flat faces, and fun accessories make for an interesting and fresh design that breaks out of the smooth surface animal vinyl toys that we've seen as of recently.
These guys run a good size at 6 inches and leave plenty of room for customization and fun. Although they come in 10 different designs and one DIY version, all I can say is everyone screams "Customize me!" I guess it's the flat face, but I just want to grab one and some Sculpey and mess around with them.
These guys are made by Kicktoys, and you can pick them up at their site or through select stores. They will set you back $25, but as far as I could tell they aren't in limited edition runs. The price is a bit high for a non-limited edition run, but I think it is worth it because of the really interesting design. And they donate 15% of the proceeds to "Save the Children" Foundation. If you want a new designing platform that the whole world isn't customizing on I say go for one of these guys.
